Midasco has been awarded a project by Gwinnett County, Georgia as part of their Road Improvement Program. This project consists of installing 6.8 miles of communication fiber optic cables and cameras along S.R. 124 along with other various Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) equipment.

Midasco has moved their Charlotte office location to better suit the needs of their projects and their team. The new address is 1220 Upper Asbury Avenue, Suite A, Charlotte, NC 28206. The new phone and fax numbers are (704) 376-3782 (phone) and (704) 376-3784 (fax).
Midasco has been awarded a project by the Virginia Department of Transportation to remove and replace overhead sign structures in Fairfax County. This project will be added to the list of million dollar projects currently underway in the Northern Virginia area, as Midasco looks to successfully build their working relationship with VDOT.
Midasco recently opened a new office near Manassas, VA to better serve their current workload in the area. The new office is considered a regional office with all work in the Northern Virginia area being managed through it. The opening highlights yet another effort by Midasco to broaden their footprint along the East Coast.

Maryland's InterCounty Connector (ICC), Segment C, opened successfully to the public on November 20, 2011. The state-of-the-art tolled highway opened between Georgia Avenue and Interstate 95 in Maryland's Montgomery and Prince George's counties and will help ease the congested roadways between Baltimore City and Washington DC. Midasco was responsible with installing highway lighting and intelligent transportation systems for this signature project for Midasco as well as the State of Maryland.
Midasco has been awarded a contract through Maryland SHA for the reconstruction of interchange lighting along I-695 at I-795, Perring Parkway, and Providence Road. The project involves installing new highway lighting, reconstructing existing lighting, installing new cable, and new sign structures along I-695.
Midasco has been awarded a Dynamic Message Sign (DMS) project through the City of Virginia Beach. The work includes installation of motorist advisory Dynamic Message Signs and installation of system vehicle detectors, including sign structures, equipment cabinets, and communication equipment at various locations throughout Virginia Beach.
Midasco has been awarded the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART) Areawide CCTV Deployment Phase 4 contract through Maryland SHA. Work includes installing CCTV cameras throughout Anne Arundel, Frederick, and Prince George's Counties in Maryland.
Midasco has earned a spot on the Engineering News-Record (ENR) list of Top 600 Specialty Contractors for 2011, being placed at number 341. This recognition is a first for Midasco - with many more to come - which highlights the success of Midasco in a gloomy recessionary market.
