Job Description:
This design-build project will build fourteen miles of new High Occupancy Tolls (“HOT”) lanes on I-495 between the Springfield Interchange and just north of the Dulles Toll Road. These HOT lanes will allow the Beltway to offer HOV-3 connections with I-95/395, I-66, and the Dulles Toll Road for the first time.
Midasco is installing the signing for this project, which includes extensive overhead sign structures with static and variable message signing. Midasco is also a vital part in the design-build operation to incorporate cutting edge technology, such as new LED sign lighting on structures.
